This is a staple. Once done you can have slices for dinner or just slice the loaf up for nice savory sandwiches. It comes in handy when packing lunch for work. I prefer adding vegetables to the loaf too because that’s one way we consumes some veggies..

What we need? 

  1. 1/2 pound ground turkey
  2. 1/2 pound ground chicken
  3. 1/6 pound mixed vegetables (broccoli, beans, carrots, sweat peas etc) boiled and mashed
  4. 1 egg
  5. Bread crumbs
  6. 1/2 cup chicken broth
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black pepper powder
  9. Fennel seeds
  10. 1 onion finely chopped
  11. 2 tomatoes finely chopped
  12. Some mint leaves- finely chopped
  13. 1 tbsp – ginger garlic paste

Let’s get cooking

  1. In a large bowl mix all above ingredients. This mixture should be soft but not runny.
  2. Pre heat oven at 350 F, but the mixture in a loaf pan and pop it in the pre heated oven to bake for 1.5 hrs or until the crust is brown or until the temperature of the loaf is 160 F.
  3. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before you slice the turkey.
