This is some out of the box recipe.. Green peas and pakore?? Really? But yes I had a lots of green peas and no one who wanted to eat them unless they were turned into something beautiful.. I wanted to make mater ki kachori ( peas suffed breads) but that’s lot of work.. The quickest thing that struck was make fried balls and use them as an appetizer or mix them in a curry can call them mater ke kofte.. That’s like killing two birds with one arrow and yes! I achieve that 😊

Well let’s get cooking.

What we need

1 frozen bag of green peas ( you might use fresh peas too)

1 cup bread crumbs

Salt to taste

1/2 tea spoon red chili powder ( may add more to taste)

Half a bunch of coriander leaves

1/2 tea spoon coriander powder

1/2 tea spoon cumin powder

1/2 a tea spoon fennel seeds

How to cook?

1. Thaw and boil the peas

2. When tender and cooked, mash the peas.

3. In a mixing bowl, add the mashed peas and all the above ingredients and mix well.

4. Make small balls and deep fry them.

5. Serve hot with a dip.
